Chloe shuffled through the mail as she made her way towards the front door of the house. She shoved everything into one hand as she pulled out her key, unlocked the door and bushed it open as she walked in shutting it behind her.

She pulled her jacket off, hung it up on the coat hanger before tossing her papers on the small bench near it and tossing her keys into the bowl as she continued slipping through the mail while moving towards the kitchen. “Ollie…I’m home.”

He grinned as he covered the pot on the stove and glanced up as she made her way into the room. Chloe paused and looked up at him her face softening at his smile. “Hey…” He closed the distance between them wrapping his arms around her and as he bent down she leaned up and captured his lips in a soft kiss.

When they pulled apart she smiled and let out a content sigh as he spoke. “You’re home late tonight.” She nodded as she kissed his chin before moving towards the island and plopping down in a seat dropping the stack of mail on the marble counter top. “Yeah, sorry Randal has me doing a story with the biggest tool on staff I swear the man wouldn’t know tact if it bit him in the ass.”

Oliver chuckled and moved back over towards the stove causing Chloe to arch an eyebrow at him. “Are you making dinner?” He nodded. “I am…chicken parm with spaghetti.” She grinned. “Best husband ever.” He tilted his head to the side and gave her a palms up gesture.

“Well yeah, but you already knew that…” He motioned to the stack of envelopes in front of her. “What’s all that?” She glanced down and groaned. “Mail, because apparently we never get it. What’s up with that anyway?” Oliver shrugged. “I dunno…my secretary gets me my mail…so I sort of forget that we get mail here too.”

She rolled her eyes and smirked as she started going through it again. “Ah, so now I’m not only your partner in crime and your wife, but your secretary too.” Oliver pouted which only made her smile widen. “You’re mean…I’m cooking you dinner, be nice to me.”

Chloe had just tossed a card at him when she came across a medium sized packing envelope. Her brows furrowed as she glanced over it. The package was addressed to both of them and it was from Metropolis. She tore the seal and reached inside pulling out a single sheet of paper, a CD case and a small album with a sheer envelope and several lose pictures.

She put the letter aside, opened the album and her eyes widened as her hand flew to her mouth. “Oh my god Oliver…” He glanced up worry on his face. “What’s wrong?” She looked up a light giggle falling from her throat easing the tension in his body as she held up the album, which was open to the first page.

He glanced at the photo and pursed his lips humor dancing in his eyes as he met her gaze. “Is that…us?” She nodded. He shut the stove off and came around to stand next to her as she flipped through the pictures. Oliver laughed at one where he and Chloe were standing near Tess and Emil as he shoved cake into her face.

The photo right after it showed him pouting as cake dripped off his head, Tess and Chloe laughing towards the side while Emil was pointing at his head grin on his face. Most of the pictures featured them tripping or on the floor laughing, but the very last photo in the album warmed his heart.

He stood Chloe at his side her arm around his midsection his around her shoulder hugging her to him, bright smile on both their faces as they gazed down on each other. To his left was Clark, grin wide arm around Oliver with Emil next to him as they looked toward each other laughing. To Chloe’s right was Lois smirking and Tess next to her glancing at him and Chloe with a smile on her face.

It was quite literally the perfect picture. It wasn’t posed so the expressions on their faces were honest and easy going. They were all together and anyone could see the happiness radiating from each of them. Chloe touched his side and he glanced over at her.

“It looks like we had a lot of fun.” He nodded as his hand fell to the small of her back rubbing it lightly. “Yeah…it definitely does.” She stared at the picture and spoke voice light. “I want to blow this up and have it framed…maybe put it in the study or the office.”

Oliver nodded. “I like that idea…and by the way if I haven’t mentioned it before…you make a pretty hot Madonna Sidekick.” Chloe smirked. “And you don’t look so bad in a light green 80’s formal wear.” Oliver waggled his eyebrows at her. “Oh Sidekick when will you learn that I look good in everything I wear…”

She rolled her eyes before her gaze landed on the CD. She picked it up and bit her lower lip as she turned her eyes on her husband. “Looks like they recorded the wedding…feel like checking it out?” Oliver gave her half a smile mischief in his eyes. “Race you to the study.”

Before she could say anything he took off and she grunted before pushing herself off the chair and taking off after him. He was such a big kid, but one thing was for sure being married to Oliver Queen was never boring.
